Please at least credit the original artists or provide a source from where you found the pictures that you use; I'd be pretty upset if someone else was being credited for posting a picture which I had put a lot of effort into. It is not only against DA's rules to steal artwork, but it is also against the law.
It's fine that you have your own characters and all, but instead of simply painting over a picture which belongs to someone else, why don't you try and use a reference to draw your OC instead of copying it completely? I guarantee that you'll feel a lot more pleased with the outcome, and before you know it you'll be able to draw like many amazing artists.
